I have a Drupal 7 website, which I want to convert to a custom system with NodeJS. The website consists of e-mail archives and research papers.
I would like to finish this project in four parts:
1. Mirror my Drupal MySQL database to MongoDB, the mirroring software will convert MySQL to MongoDB documents (the first time, and then by cron, periodically), and refresh the MongoDB when I create new nodes, update existing ones or delete some. I have Drupal's Services module setup, and you can use some experimental code we wrote to accomplish this task.
2. Using MongoDB, build a new Frontend in NodeJS + Angular or React, I need some D3JS maps, charts and graphs as well at this stage. Apart from MongoDB, your code will connect to an Apache Solr server for the search features, and use a CSL citations formatter to format some of my data. We will continue to use Drupal to create/edit data at this stage, and I need you to only replace the Drupal theme and front-end with NodeJS
3. Build some services using NodeJS and MongoDB to (a) submit my site data to external services, such as OAI-PMH, Crossref, and others, and (b) connect to external services like Google News, Crossref and Google Scholar to pull data into my site.
4. Replace my Drupal Back-end with a NodeJS "CMS" back-end for creating and editing data.
I would like to conclude the project in several very small and manageable milestones for each part, and the entire project needs to conclude in six-eight months' time.
