3D Medical Animator
$15-25 USD / jam
This job is for Medical 3D animation. Please only respond if you have some previous examples of medical animation work. Candidate must also be able to [login to view URL] conference at least three times a week to check in and go over animation projects. This will involve both parties screen sharing and voice chatting. Must speak English very well and communicate.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
5+ years of experience designing, 3-D modeling, texturing, animation, and post-production effects.
Photoshop or similar graphics application experience for texturing and post-production effects.
Must have a portfolio or show previous works demonstrating production abilities.
Blender 3D experience is required.
Able to work remotely over high speed broadband Internet.
Must have basic understanding of multiple operating systems (OS X, Windows, Linux).
Basic programming experience using Python or similar programming language
Ability to storyboard medical animations and good communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Modeling and animation using open source Blender 3D software.
Perform research on texts and Internet for information required to accurately create a 3-D models, scenes and textures.
Liaise with subject matter experts such as doctors and medical professionals to obtain information and accuracy of 3-D models and textures.
Provide weekly progress reports and updates for assigned workload.
