Hi, I'm Matt and your animation is relatively easy to create (I have 22 years of webmastering experience, 3+ with SVG/CSS3/javascript animations). For a "morph" (with translation e.g. moving to the right) to be created with SVG animation there is an easy requirement - though sometimes hard to achieve - of having both objects the exact same number of nodes e.g. points in the path. Then morphing from one path to the other is straightforward. It can be done using javascript library, I use mostly GreenSock. So if you have both shark images with the same number of nodes in paths this can be done using plain (and free) GreenSock library. If your number of path nodes in images differ the animation is hard to create yet GreenSock has a commercial MorphSVG plugin that auto calculates and adapts morphing transformation (e.g. adds or removes intermediary points). I can use it - can show a demo on CodePen - though a membership to their "club" is required. I can give you my own version of that library that will work on your website. Later - after I receive a payment for this project - you will receive the latest version of MorphSVG and instructions how to use it for your animations (on your website). I just haven't prolonged the membership but will for your project. ADDED: "yoyo" animation (a shark reverts to its original position) can be achieved using 2 mouseover/mouseut tween animations or simply just by using a "timeline" reverse.
