Multivendor Travel Channel Manager Development

I’m building a real-time channel manager that lets independent suppliers—think Hotel Owners today and small hotels tomorrow—sign up, plug in their own sales channels, and keep room availability in perfect sync. The core must therefore be multivendor: every merchant needs a private dashboard to load rooms availability, map them to the external channels they already use, and watch availability update automatically whenever a reservation lands. Key points I need you to hit • Base the solution on proven open-source channel-manager code so future contributors can extend it easily. • Primary sync target is custom booking channels; we’ll integrate with each partner’s API rather than relying on giants like [login to view URL] or Airbnb. • Inventory types to cover from day one: hotel rooms. The data model should be flexible enough to add tours or other services later without refactoring. • Vendor isolation is critical: each user may view and edit only their own inventory, pricing and channel connections. • Core functions: two-way availability sync, reservation fetch, simple calendar view, manual override, and conflict prevention. • Clean REST or GraphQL API layer so third-party marketplaces can push/pull data. • Modern, lightweight admin interface—Vue, React or similar—paired with a robust backend (Laravel, Django, Node, your call as long as it’s well-documented and test-covered). • Dockerised deployment script plus README so I can spin up staging and production instances quickly. Please outline the open-source base you’d leverage, your high-level architecture plan, and a rough timeline for an MVP that covers cars and rooms with at least one sample custom channel integration.
