Chrome Clip to Bubble Plugin - Saving from website page data when selected

I need a lightweight Chrome extension that lets me gather product details from any web page and push them straight into my [login to view URL] app. Here’s the flow I want: • While browsing in Google Chrome I highlight text or numbers on the page (e.g., “Kettlefries Chips”, “$2.50”, description, company name, URL). • I then click the extension’s toolbar button. • A small pop-up appears, pre-filled with the values it just captured plus the page URL and the main image’s URL. I can make quick edits and press “Save”. • The extension sends a POST call to Bubble’s Data API and creates a new Thing with fields Title, Amount, Image, Page URL, Description, and Company. Only Chrome support is required; no need for Firefox or Safari. Users will authenticate once with their Bubble username and password. Store credentials securely in Chrome’s storage and reuse them for subsequent calls. Deliverables 1. Production-ready Chrome extension (Manifest V3 compliant) with content script, background service worker, and pop-up UI. 2. Secure Bubble login flow using the user’s username/password and Bubble’s API authentication. 3. Source code and build instructions so my team can package, sign, and publish the extension without your further involvement. 4. README covering setup, configuration of Bubble API permissions, and how to update field mappings if my database changes. Acceptance test: after loading the extension in Developer mode, I should be able to visit any product page, highlight the required fields, press the button, and immediately see a correctly populated record inside my Bubble database—no maintenance or external services needed beyond Bubble and Chrome.
