Shopify Developer for Premium Online Wine Store

We are a premium online wine retailer preparing for launch in end September 2025. Our Shopify store (using the Prestige theme) is currently 60% completed, with ~200 wines (descriptions and images ready). We are seeking an experienced Shopify developer or agency to complete the build, integrate critical backend systems, and optimize the customer journey. Scope of Work 1. Backend Integrations • Implement XML-based EDI integration with for Storage Agent. • Implement API integration with Delivery Agent for real-time delivery scheduling, tracking, and webhook notifications. • Configure complex delivery logic with cut-offs and weekday/weekend handling. 2. Shopify Build & Apps • Complete product upload, categories, and filters (wine type, region, producer, vintage, formats, price). • Integrate key apps: • Rewards program (BLOY or Smile App). • Referral/Affiliates program ( UpPromote App) • Zapiet Delivery App – handle date/time selection per delivery rules. 3. Frontend & UX • Optimize checkout flow for mobile and desktop. • Add user dashboard: points, rewards, referrals, order tracking. • Fix broken links, run QA, spell-check (UK spelling), renew SSL. Deliverables & Timeline • Fully functional Shopify site ready for UAT by 25 Sep 2025. • Go-live targeted for end Sept 2025. We require an experienced Shopify developer well versed in API/EDI integrations and e-commerce UX.
