Kite Connect's ticker websocket disconnects without warning during market hours, more often than the docs let on, and your acceptance test runs a live session start to finish, so the backoff logic isn't a nice to have here, it's what decides whether the process is even alive when the swing hits. I'd build this as a small daemon. A websocket client with exponential backoff and a resubscribe path, a config layer for API keys, buy threshold, and percentage swing alerts read from env vars rather than hardcoded, and a paper/live switch so the demo mode never touches a real order. Logging structured to stdout so the mock buy and the alert are traceable in real time, not just something I claim happened after the fact. For the demo path I'd simulate a manageable trigger against the live tick stream so the mock buy and one notification fire deterministically within the session, rather than waiting on the market to cooperate on its own schedule. README covers setup, config, and how to flip paper to live once you're happy with it. One milestone: full script, config, paper/live switch, and README, 31875 INR, 3 days.
