Inventory App: Pieces & Meters Tracking

I receive regular consignments from X Mill in a variety of colours. Every item is measured and sold two ways—by pieces and by meters—so the app must let me record each delivery in both units and then keep those numbers perfectly in sync as stock moves out to multiple customers. What I need is a clean, reliable workflow inside the app: • A simple intake screen where I can select the colour, type the quantities (pieces and meters), and save the lot in one step. • Automatic stock reduction each time a sale is entered, again reflecting both units. • Clear, real-time inventory views so I always know how many pieces and how many meters remain for every colour. The goods I handle are categorised as “Pcs and meters,” exactly as selected, so the dual-unit logic is essential. Please tell me how you would structure the database tables or collections, what technology stack or framework you prefer, and the timeline you need to deliver a working, tested module that I can plug into my existing app. I am happy to clarify the current codebase once we start the conversation.
