I’m building a small desktop device that pairs light and sound so I can cycle through 24 preset frequencies—from C2 up to A3—and experience each note visually as well as audibly. For every preset I want three things to happen at once: • the LED shifts to a consistent hue that somehow “matches” the note - I will provide the relationships • its brightness flickers or pulses • a tone plays through a small speaker at that same frequency Based on the notes C to A in a spreadsheet I will provide. One POT divided into 24 segments each segment representing: • A flicker rate • A sine wave frequency • An associated colour in Nm As you turn POT 1 you cycle through the notes C2 C2# D2# E2 etc and associated flickers/sound/colour. Once it reaches A2 it starts again at C3 through to A3. Display 1: Flicker Rate/Note i.e. D2# Display 2: Nm Frequency Additional POT to Control overall brightness of the LED Mode 2: Switches off the flicker on the above so only Sound and Colour Display 1: Flicker Rate (for note reference only/Note i.e. D2# Display 2: Nm Frequency Mode 3: POT goes through all Nm colours from 667Nm to 353Nm No sound or flicker Deliverables: Suggested component list and connection diagram based on TM1637 or similar display and WS2812 LEDs Arduino code Please include in your hand-off: 1. The Arduino sketch with clear comments. 2. A straightforward wiring diagram and parts list I can source easily. 3. A short README explaining how to load the code, trigger each setting, and modify hues or flicker behaviour in the future.
