We are looking for an experienced developer/freelancer to build a block-based coding platform for school students. The goal is to help students learn programming concepts, improve logical thinking, and gain hands-on experience with hardware. The platform can be based on the Google Blockly framework (or similar open-source alternatives), with a customized interface designed for educational use. Key Requirements: - Build a web-based block coding platform (similar to Blockly/Scratch). - Allow students to visually create code blocks for basic programming concepts (loops, conditions, variables, etc.). - Enable direct integration with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, and NodeMCU. Students should be able to connect their devices and upload the generated code directly from the platform. - Ensure a smooth and error-free code upload process to the devices. - User-friendly interface, optimized for school students (ages 10–18). - Option to expand in the future for more hardware and advanced coding features. Preferred Skills: - Strong experience with Google Blockly, Scratch, or similar frameworks. - Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or related technologies. - Experience with Arduino IDE integration, ESP32, and IoT platforms. - Prior work in STEM education tools, EdTech platforms, or robotics is a plus.
