Developing an 8 channel EMG system using an ADS1298, the hardware for the project has been designed, now the firmware needs to be developed. The design consists of 8 monopolar AFE channel connected to the ADS1298, the data is collected by a microcontroller (MCU) and send to the PC to be visualized (MATLAB GUI). I only need the firmware for the MCU to be developed, as I have tried multiple time but without any success.
The data should be collected by either STM32F411 or Arduino DUE (the STM32F411 has my preference). However, if you have experience using another MCU to communicate with the ADS1298 this would be up for discussion (I just need to develop a working prototype for my university project, don't mind how it's done)
The data should be sent to the PC via USB (CDC) where I have developed a simple MATLAB application to visualize the data. UART would also be an option, but USB has my preference.
The ADS1298 should be programmed to have a sampling frequency of 1KSPS, use the internal buffer of 2,4V, the channels should be configured to a gain of 1 and the internal oscillator should be used. Other options as the RLD, WTC are not required to be activated.
Experience with ads1298 is a must!
