You want a Raspberry Pi that reliably reads ECG, SpO2, temp, pressure and other vitals and pushes clean, timestamped data over the network — the tough parts are getting the analog side and timing right while keeping patient safety and data integrity intact. The real problem is not just reading sensors but signal conditioning, isolation for ECG and accurate sampling plus robust network retries and secure timestamping for later analysis. I built a Pi based biometric logger for a university pilot that captured ECG, SpO2 and environmental data and uploaded encrypted files to a server. It included PCB wiring diagrams and the production Python stack. My approach 1. Circuit and parts selection: pick ADCs, front end filters, isolation for ECG, power and connector layout and produce a schematic and parts list. 2. Code prototype: Python drivers, scheduler for sampling rates per sensor, buffering, local storage and secure upload with retries and NTP sync. 3. Test and handoff: bench tests, sample data, final wiring diagram, code repo and optional PCB files.
