Hello,
Background:
I have a corporate site that showcases my sites/network (logos with link to active websites), contact form if anyone wants to sell their site/domain, etc. Basically the typical corporate site. I specialize in website development and domain acquisitions. Now typically I love writing and can do fairly decently. However I've found some complication being self indulgent/writing positively or even descriptively about my own company.
What I need:
-About us page.
-Investors page. Entice visitors (large venture capitalist firms) to invest. When you see the site/some of my properties I own, you will see this page is not so far fetched/and will be necessary. Utmost professionalism used.
-Mission statement
-And variety of random text & paragraphs not noteworthy to be considered an "individual page". The text just above the "contact us" area (e.g. the small). Descriptive paragraph in flash area near header (e.g. the medium).
In all...at most, 4-5 pages worth of material. Nothing hugely significant or time consuming.
How I would like this done:
You ask me a few simple yes, no questions/few indepth to give personal touch. However the inquiry/discussion should be short (paying to alleviate this inconvenience) and your imagination should be put to work. Fear not, I do not want you to lie or even stretch truth, just merely summarize the work ethic of EVERY company. Even bankrupt company's at one point had a mission, had some sort of generic "We will succeed" text/outlook. I would like the same positive connotation.
**Again, fear not, as my network is impressive (or at least on it's way to be - [login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc) and gives much inspiration to the proper writer!
Basically I do not want to divulge 'too much' personal info or $$$ earned revenue. I rather "dazzle" the public with generalized corporate fluff-material, but no "real ins" to this "private" company. Especially since we sell no services (all designs/sites/hosting = only for our own network). Hence outsourced writer.
MUST BE ARTICULATE, ABSOLUTELY PROFESSIONAL.
Price does make a difference. I understand the proverbial "you get what you pay for". However I'm paying for text, of which - not even that much text. As such consider this as a quick side job/intellectual property that involves no investment, aside from time. Give me your best price & pitch :) - I WILL NEED REFERENCES OF PAST WRITING.
Thanks.
-Mike
