I’m looking for a comedy writer who has a passion for bridge and/or some other 'old-school' type games (cribbage, backgammon, mahjong etc) and would be interested in writing (approx. 2000 words) about their passion in a humorous way. The direction of the article is flexible e.g. it can be either from a viewpoint of observing others playing or the writer's own thoughts on their passion, or a combination. A more detailed brief will be provided to the selected candidate for guidance, although happy for the writer to take the article in whatever direction they want it to go. I’m not after a ghostwriter, I’m after a writer who is happy to receive credit for the article.
The article will be within issue 001 of an upcoming digital journal that contains content on cultures, eras, and nature. More information on the journal can be provided upon request. I have allocated an arbitrary budget to this project. Please provide your rates or rough quote for the piece and some samples of writing if possible. Thanks!
