Mid-Term Assignment guidelines:
For the mid-term assignment, you are required to write a five to seven page paper on a significant court case related to the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, or Fourteenth Amendment where prisoners won and discuss its significance. You should pay special attention to cases listed by McKee in Section IV of Fundamentals Cases in Criminal Justice. Be thorough in your writing. You are required to follow APA guidelines when completing reference lists, in-text citations, and page headers. You are required to reference at least four credible sources in your paper. (Wikipedia is NOT a credible source) All sources must be cited using APA format. All work must be double-spaced. You must use Times New Roman, 12-point font. All work must be no more than 10% unoriginal. See the syllabus for requirements regarding unoriginal work. You will lose points for failing to follow these guidelines.
