I attended Osaka University where I majored in Japanese. After graduating, I worked for a localization division of a Japanese Game Publisher in Osaka, for a period of 13 years.
My duties involved the translation of in-game content and manual booklets for more than 100 games.
I also translated internal company documents such as marketing reports and design documents.
I have been working as a freelance translator ever since I left the company, and my portfolio includes translations for e-learning systems, agreements, brochures for universities, and many more.
I have translated the texts for Zoom, Fuerogames, Halfbrick Studios, MoonActive, TOEFL, OAG, trippiece, Xenex and more and more companies.
I am completely fluent in Japanese and English and received high distinctions in all my language courses as you will see in my accreditations above.
I am responsible, mature and enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team. I am a great communicator and get on well with everyone around me, which makes me very good at what I do professionally as a translator.
