November 30- Submit Rough draft
December 7 - Submit Final Movie Review
The movies are:
1. The Pursuit of Happiness
3. The kid with a bike
You should watch the movies and take notes to analyze an interpersonal communication relationship(s) In the movie. You are not developing an actual movie review like the movie critics. I only need to have a synopsis of the movie in the first paragraph. The remainder of the analysis will describe interpersonal communication using vocabulary and concepts.
Start writing a Movie Review for each movie. Each movie project should contain a title page with the name of the film and my name. The movie project should be anywhere from two to three pages (excluding the title page and a ‘Works Cited’ page if applicable).
Do not include all three movies as one paper. Approach each movie review as a separate assignment. You will place a ‘page break’ between each movie review to give a one-document appearance.
Provide a brief background of the movie as if I had never watched it. Do not spend too much time explaining the plot. Introduce the film, the characters, and various scenes that reflect interpersonal communication, disclosure, emotions, listening, climates, conflict, etc.; whatever you observe in the movie aligns with what you have learned in the course. To do well, you must be familiar with interpersonal communication, concepts, vocabulary, etc., and explain in detail what is occurring in each movie. You may want to go back and review the summaries of the textbook chapters.
