I'm Lucas, the founder of [login to view URL]
For several years we’ve been establishing this resource in the music industry.
Our goal is to become the hub of the most useful and in-depth information about digital pianos and keyboards.
Most of our articles are 3000+ words well-researched, high-quality pieces of content that go into a lot of detail about the topic.
We're looking to hire another writer who can contribute to our blog. Ideally, we need someone who has some knowledge about digital pianos/keyboards and is a piano player.
The position will start with 2-3 blog posts per month, with much room to grow beyond this if you can deliver consistent quality work.
For now, there're mostly digital piano reviews and buying guides on the website, but we’d like to publish more informational and how-to articles about digital pianos/keyboards, and their use for learning, teaching, music production, etc.
Examples of such articles would be:
Digital Piano Brands: Overview
Electric vs Electronic vs Digital Piano vs Stage Piano vs Keyboard explained
Should I buy a new or a used digital piano?
10 questions you need to ask before buying a digital piano
Best Music Apps for Teachers/Students
Digital Piano Key Actions: The Ultimate Guide
Digital Piano Evolution
The writer is paid on a per-word basis. Depending on the skills, experience, and qualification we pay $0.025-0.04 per word.
Most of the blog posts will be between 3,000 – 4,000 words per post.
So please bid based on delivering 1 x 3,500-word article.
Please note that we have very high editorial standards compared to most other blogs. Every post that we publish goes through our strict editorial process where we check all claims and ideas for accuracy.
Our readers trust us, and we absolutely must ensure the highest quality content.
You'll be assigned topics by myself and given a submission deadline. It's quite likely that in the first couple of weeks there will be a lot of feedback and editing required, but generally, once a writer gets into the swing of things, that part should be minimal.
By all means, check out our latest blog posts to get a feel for the sort of quality we are looking for. Note that we only require our writers to write the content, no web formatting or design is required.
Please provide at least 3 samples of similar content you have written and/or published in your application. Also, take 5 minutes to customize your application since copy pasted applications rarely stand out :)
Thanks and good luck!
