Contractor must create and test a SharePoint Custom Field type using MS Visual Studio. The field type shall be an "SPFieldUrl" class derived from Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls.BaseFieldControl.
The Custom Field will utilize a Field Rendering Control that will contain:
1. A ComboBox that contains a list of SharePoint Picture Libraries within the current SPWeb.
2. Another ComboBox that contains a list of images within the previous ComboBox displaying image titles within the box.
3. An Image box that will dynamically display the selected image selected within the previous ComboBox.
The contract shall create the Field Rendering Control as a part of the MS Visual Studio Project.
Every visual aspect of the Custom Field must be adjustable through the CSS. The contractor shall incorporate granular "class" references for this purpose.
The output of the field shall have a .DisplayFormat equal to "Image."
The .Url property shall be set to the relative URL. And, the .Description property shall be set to either the selected item description or the full URL if the description is unavailable. The ItemFieldValue shall be equal to the SPFieldUrlValue.
Contract will deliver the complete MS Visual Studio project, and will provide implementation instructions upon successful testing within the SharePoint WSS 3.0 environment. Project completion will be defined by successful review and implementation of the Custom Field (and all project aspects) within our production environment.
Those interested in bidding this project should respond in detail promptly. Please include an example MS Visual Studio Project created by your company that has addressed a similar SharePoint objective.
