I need help on approaching a report I have to develop.
I have two tables.
One is registration for a conference.
- fields of concern are Sess1, Sess2, Sess3, Sess4, Sess5 and Sess6
Second is a list of sessions.
- two main fields ID and SessionName
My goal here is to design a query that would:
- Read each individual unique ID from Sessions Table then report the Session Name and Count it appears for each from the Registration Table (the ID could appear in any of Sess1 thru Sess6 fields; but only one of them)
Should be simple enough but admittedly I am not a SQL guru and was hoping someone could help me out and save me a bunch of headaches trying to figure this out.
