Hi you’re bidding on a contract to setup a start to finish VoIP solution. This will be a headless install where I will install any version of Linux you wish onto a box and provide proxy ssh access and proxy internal network web access for any config pages. The server will need to auto boot on power loss ( ill setup the pc to pass bios and power on in the event power is lost and restored) it will need to allow me to add extensions with ease to allow new users to log in the users I provide service to pay me directly to use the service so I also need to be able to temp lock their accounts should they not pay. I need detailed reports of inbound calls to each extension as I get paid by the number of calls they answer. There will be a large number of phone numbers registered all of these will come back to the same main menu and extensions.
The menu should change depending on who is logged in at the start users will use a soft phone with a cisco usb adapter and headset but we would be looking to get physical phones in the near future. I need email alerts sent from some extensions should a voicemail get left and a not ready button for the softphones that will not change the menu but place the caller on hold until the agent is ready again. I need to be able to set hold music to each extension individual playlists for each. The agents should not be able to call outside the network only to other extensions (as set list like manager, It support but no other agents) they should be able to leave their manager a voicemail but they will not need their own mailboxes its answer the call it watch it abandon. I would also like to be able to record the calls coming in or have some kind of report button for the call the agent is currently on so if it’s a bad call they can report the number and we can block it (I understand that withheld numbers and the cheap cost of mobiles will mean this isn’t fool proof but it’s something)
I am open to ideas as to how we can do this but the budget is small as there’s not a lot of return to be made in this service ( id possibly like to combine a number of services into the call centre such as when the line picks up it says the name of the company the user called and the agent can respond appropriately)
