Home project. I have given up on using these voip desktop phones without a PBX. I need someone to configure "Incredible PBX" (atop Ubuntu or CentOS) for 4 Cisco SPA525G2 phones, and 1 Yealink SIP-T48G. The PBX will live in the garage with pfSense. I do not use wifi for any device other than smart phones and tablets. I will be keeping my existing ITSP ([url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]). I have a pair asus i5 available to re-purpose for PBX and pfSense.
Preferably that same person will configure a new instance of pfSense. I plan to have XO communications install an ethernet circuit only for PBX separate from the horrifically poor service from TimeWarner that I suffer now. I am option to suggestions on the nature of circuit I should have installed.
This is not a home office. This is a home. I like overkill. I am willing to pay a fixed priced and my budget is $120 - $300 USD as I wager this is a simple setup compared to an enterprise project. Each of the 4 line phones use 3 respective subaccounts, mostly from [url removed, login to view] and viltelity.net. Each mobile phone will use 2 respective subaccounts
I would like the PBX to be able to perform CNAM filtering, and offer a non-commandline interface (web) for rules configuration. None of my current ITSP expose CNAM filtering on the web interface: filtering on the name component of callerid. Yes, [url removed, login to view] does, but their competence is in question.
Currently each phone makes an OpenConnect VPN connection to TorGuard.net. I would like a toggle-able option to enable PBX over VPN. I am open to suggestion for VPN provider. I am unaware of any ITSP offering VPN connections, but I am given to understand my request of that feature years ago has since been implemented in PBX in a flash and others.
When a call comes in on the home DID I can pick it up from any phone, but I cannot transfer it to another phone. I want this enabled.
If possible: Ideally I would like to activate that same-DID-line on another phone (pickup handset) to become party to the conversation without the recipient initiating call transfer, like pstn phones of old.
I also want the intercom feature to function.
The voicemail available notification must continue to function.
I want our samsung smart phones (LibrePhone currently) to be able to use SIP TCP inside the house . I am open to smart phone app recommendations, but no smart phone has google play.
I would like to be able to connect via VPN to the PBX outside the LAN from mobile phones via SIP TCP over IPv4 or IPv6
The ethernet circuit will likely be provisioned with a static IP address.
Optional: I would like the PBX to process SIP SIMPLE messaging ([url removed, login to view] functionality). I want to continue to be able to use SIP SIMPLE (sms via sip) from the mobile phones, and would like suggestions about which desktop voip phone can display incoming sms via SIP.
As these SPA525G2 are End Of Life all but one has the latest firmware, and I plan to buy different phones if required, probably YeaLink or SNOM, via amazon. Audio fidelity is a high concern only exceeded by the ability to have a high seizure rate. I chose the SPA525G2 for their excellent speakerphone.
future project: configure a different instance of pfSense for the house on Time Warner.
