The core must rely on proven machine-learning techniques—think OpenCV, MediaPipe, dlib, or a lightweight CNN—so it stays accurate without demanding dedicated hardware. Here’s the workflow I want to see in action: • Continuous face and eye landmark detection from the external webcam at a practical frame rate. • Calculation of blink frequency and eye-closure duration to infer drowsiness. • Immediate audio alert (no visual or vibration cues are needed) when thresholds are crossed. • Simple configuration panel or editable settings file so I can fine-tune thresholds later.
