Child Actor - British accent

We are currently seeking a young male voice actor with a British accent for a role in a science fiction audio drama. We have been doing this particular show for THIRTY years and this is story number 183. You may see the website here: www.dwad.net. READ THIS PART VERY CAREFULLY ---> Our show is put out over the internet and on iTunes. We average thousands of downloads a month, so this is an excellent place to get your voice heard. However, we do not charge anyone for this show. We make no money off of it whatsoever. These shows are downloaded for free. These roles are paid, but at a very low rate. If you're looking to make anything other than a few dollars, this is NOT the job for you. Please note that we can NOT accept generic demos. You must audition for the role you want. This allows us to test the quality of the equipment you will be using (as opposed to a polished studio demo). Yes, we know it can be a bother, especially if you want multiple roles. Rather than spend time making multiple auditions, just read for one role and list the roles you want. We'll make those instead of you having to grind through a bunch. Male, about 10 years old, he has short red hair, freckles, and bright blue eyes. He is very inquisitive and thoughtful. He looks up to young adults and teenagers a lot, and would probably have a duckling mentality if his parents allowed it. He is unfortunately very sensitive to his parents' marital issues and believes himself to be the cause of it (which he is not, but lots of yelling would convince any little boy otherwise). This character has 85 lines in the story. Once cast, you will have until October 1 to turn in your lines. To audition, read the following copy. Please read only the lines for Jeremy. Additional lines are for context. JEREMY: (Groggy/confused) Mum? Dad? Is that you? CHARLES: Jeremy, we thought you were... What happened? Are you okay? JEREMY: Were what, Dad? What are you talking about? CHARLES: (Relief evident in voice) We thought we were going to lose you, but you're all right now. JEREMY: (Sees Karly and the Doctor) Karly! Doctor! You're all right? CHARLES: If it's really this bad, then why don't we just leave? This can't be good for Jeremy. We came here to try and fix our relationship, not make it worse! JEREMY: (Whimpers) Mum? Dad? Can't we all just go to bed? I'm sleepy and my head hurts.
