Hi There Firstly, please only apply if you are able to show me your editing skills by editing this short file. Here is the link and below are the details of the project. [login to view URL] Every month, about 25-30 short audios are recorded. When the audio is edited they are short ie between 1-2 min in length. This editing job includes the following tasks: 1. Crop and delete the intro which says "testing, testing..." 2. Delete any phrases or sentences where the reader says "please delete that". The sentence will always be re-read so you do not need to splice sentences or words into the audio. It's just deleting. 3. Adding SEO or key searchable words for the audios during the editing process. These words will be supplied. 4. Ideally the completed audios are 60 seconds or 90 seconds in duration. Sometimes the edited version is 63 seconds so where possible compress the edited 63 sec audio into 60 sec will be required. 5. Softening the "S's". 6. Supplying the Edited audios in WAV and MP3 formats. I look forward to hearing from you. Rgds Kathryn

Kathryn, I am very good at this type of edit work. I started doing voiceover editing in the early 90's using Sound Designer II (the forerunner to Pro Tools which is what I use for audio engineering.. it is the standard in recording studios). I did complete sound editing on the sample file, so if you will provide a means to send it, I will get it to you (i.e. email, dropbox, etc.. your choice). When you get it, you will notice in the final sound file the removal of small noises, etc. and that I compressed the length without having to use time compression which preserves the cadence, and the sound of your voice. This takes a bit longer, but is a superior final product. I am not sure how you are pricing this out (i.e. per completed segment, etc) so we would need to discuss it.
