My church uploads a sermon file weekly and we need it automated.
Can you automate any part of this or all of this?
The process includes:
*Opening the file in garageband (or something similar like audacity (which is free) would probably work). In garageband, the file then is edited:
*any silent time in the beginning is deleted so that the file starts where sound starts
*delete any silent time or extra loud time (when music starts after sermon) after the sermon. There should usually be a period of silence at the end of each sermon. The first period of silence will be where the beginning of where the rest of the sound can be cut off.
*file is then exported as an mp3 file (was a wav file) at medium quality 128 kBit/s
At the very least an automation to turn it into an mp3 would be helpful (even just using a site like this: [login to view URL])
*The file then needs to be uploaded to our squarespace page. I’d like to be able to just name the original file one time and then convert it (as above) and upload it to squarespace in a way that automatically edits the squarespace page according to the name of the file. I have a 7 minute video example of how it is done. It’d be great to just be able to drag and drop the file to like a google drive folder (or something similar) where an automation then immediately does the rest.
Again - even if significant parts of this can be automated it would be a big help. Let me know what pricing you expect for this and what it would look like.
Here is a 7 minute explanation of the full process
