This job is for a talented music engineer who can mix and master a boom bap style of hip hop to a slick industry level. Think Mac Miller's Thoughts From A Balcony or Jay Cole's January 28th. Your job is to bring out the colour, and add space and depth in the mix. You will have access to all studio stems including vocals. - Vocals need to mix well with the beat but still punch through. - Spacing of all instruments giving every sound it's own place on the track. - The kick drum and snare need to hit with purpose without taking away from the vocal performance. - The bass line should have a deep presence on the record. The end product should be a track that is mastered to current industry standards. Attached is a version of the track that we have bounced from the studio session to give you an idea of how the track currently sounds. Our artist has a whole album ready to be mixed and mastered so there is the possibility of joining our team to complete this project.
