I need an experienced Allen-Bradley programmer to build and fine-tune the logic that will fully automate a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The controller is already in place; what’s missing is the complete set of routines, tags and fault-handling that will let the system run safely and repeatably without constant operator input. Scope • Develop ladder / structured text code on the latest Studio 5000 platform for all charge, discharge and standby modes. • Map and document all I/O, alarms and interlocks so on-site technicians can trace signals quickly. • Implement data logging to capture key values—state of charge, temperature, current, voltage—and time-stamp them for export to our SCADA historian. • If you have FactoryTalk View or equivalent HMI skills, I’d like a basic screen set to monitor status and acknowledge alarms. Acceptance criteria 1. All operating modes complete a cycle without manual overrides. 2. Faults trigger the correct safe state and register the correct alarm code. 3. Logged data is visible in the historian for at least 24 continuous hours during the test run. 4. A brief but clear hand-over pack (code, tag list, I/O map and start-up guide) is provided. Remote access to the PLC and the BESS simulator is ready to go, so once we agree on the tag list you can jump straight into development.
