Public Site Scraping Bot

I have a CSV that holds a column with the ID numbers I need to look up. For each ID, the bot should visit the public website, run the search, capture name:, register number: release date: loacted at: page returns, and write that information to a neatly structured Excel workbook (.xlsx). One row per ID is perfect. Speed matters less to me than reliability. The script must: • Read the input CSV without altering it • Retry gracefully if the site is temporarily slow or an ID returns no results • Produce a clean Excel file ready for analysis, with consistent headers and no blank lines • Log basic diagnostics (time of lookup, success/fail, any error message) so I can troubleshoot later I’m happy with Python, Node, or any language you’re comfortable automating browsers or making HTTP requests with—as long as the final deliverable is a runnable script plus clear setup instructions. If you can containerise it for easy deployment, even better. Let me know what library stack you’d choose, how long you expect the build to take, and any questions about the target site’s structure.
