I’m ready to retire the handwritten delivery docket we currently use to track each pallet of perishables that leaves our warehouse. The goal is to recreate that paper form as a Google Form (of which operators will enter info via tablet or phone), wire it to our existing Google Sheets lists, and automate everything that happens after the driver signs. Core information the form must capture includes customer info, goods description, dispatch date, a unique docket number, packaging type and quantity, freight company details, total pallet spaces, and any purchase-order numbers. The form should present Freight Company, Customer, Packaging, and Type of Goods as dynamic drop-downs that stay synced with their respective reference sheets. On submission the workflow needs to: • Push every response to a master Google Sheet (new row per docket). • Generate a neatly formatted PDF copy of the completed docket and open it ready for printing (automatic save to Drive is fine). Acceptance criteria • All mandatory fields validated so operators can’t skip them. • Drop-downs pull live data from the linked sheets without breaking if those sheets grow. • PDF layout mirrors our current hard-copy docket, including company logo (pic attached) • A test submission proves that data hits the sheet correctly and the PDF renders in under 10 seconds. - The script and formula used must be transparent, editable and owned by me at job completion. - I'm also open to suggestions of Microsoft Forms/Excel products if it is better suited then the Google suite.
