I’m staging the premiere of a new play at The MAC in Belfast and need a skilled Sound Technician to run the audio side of our one-day technical rehearsal and evening performance on 28 April 2026. You’ll take charge of setup in the morning, work closely with the in-house team, and mix the show in real time. Deliverables on the day • Morning load-in: patch, line-check and EQ all inputs • Afternoon tech: run cue-to-cue with director and stage manager, refining levels and fades • Performance call: operate the show, reacting to any live issues instantly • Post-show: strike visiting equipment and hand over a tidy console file to the house team If you’re available for the full day, happy to collaborate, and ready to make this new play sound its best, I’d love to hear how you’d approach it and see examples of similar work.
