A/V Specialist for Quarterly Livestream Events (Travel Required)

My company is looking for an A/V specialist to support our quarterly livestream town hall events (speakers, 3-4 mics, connection to power sources and Internet, etc). In the past, we had an internal staff member who did the A/V setup and ran the equipment which we own we own. That support is no longer available. Our internal IT team provides/oversees during the event to host the actual Teams livestream. We typically ship our equipment to the host facility in advance. If you prefer to use your own equipment, that’s fine too. These events are livestreamed via Teams from one of our 13 facilities located throughout North America. We also host hold them in our office headquarters in Greensboro, NC, from time to time. Please note that we do have one person who provides IT support for the actual Teams meeting. We tend to schedule these quarterly events 2-3 months hold planning meetings in advance with the facility manager, IT support and A/V support to coordinate. When we hold them in a manufacturing plant, we ask the plant manager to locate a spot on the shop floor and set up chairs for the live audience (about 30-100) and a podium for the laptop for presenters. We do the rest. For the actual setup and breakdown, the goal would be for the A/V technician to arrive at the location (travel required) in enough time to setup and test (at least a few hours in advance). The last company we hired arrived at 7:00 a.m. for our 11:00 a.m. meeting and used their own equipment. Breakdown would occur immediately after the event has concluded.
