You bid on a past project for us, that project was put on hold. This project encompasses the same items in the first project with some added items.
Currently our company uses the Outlook task manager to assign and organize tasks, many of these tasks are reoccurring. We would like to utilize Business Contact Manager, Project Management for managing tasks and workflows. Additional functionality required to make that transition include:
1. Reoccurring Project tasks. Functionality to assign & accept project tasks in Business Contact Manager that are connected to Business projects. Functionality needs to include:
a. Button on the ribbon to allow recurring tasks
i. Must have the same functionality available in the standard outlook task list: reoccurrence pattern, daily weekly etc., date of recurrence, and range of recurrence.
b. Button on the ribbon to allow easy assignment of tasks including:
i. A notification sent to person receiving task
ii. Ability to accept, decline or reassign task
iii. Response notification when task is accepted
2. Gadgets to view tasks/project tasks with a multitude of options:
a. Enable viewing ALL Project Tasks that are assigned to a specific Business Project (sortable by: start date, due date, linked to account, assigned to user)
b. Enable viewing ALL Projects & Project Tasks linked to a specific Account (sortable by: start date, due date, Business project, assigned to user)
c. Enable viewing ALL Projects & Project Tasks assigned to specific Users (sortable by: start date, due date, Business project, linked to account)
3. Link to record functionality when creating new emails (Right now we have to send an email then reopen the email to link it).
4. Disable the Link & Track button in BCM
