Construction Billing & Invoicing Engineer

I need an engineer who can take full ownership of billing and invoicing on my construction projects. Your primary focus will be turning site measurements and drawings into clear, accurate invoices that contractors and clients can understand at a glance. Because most quantities are verified directly off drawings, comfortable use of AutoCAD is essential—you’ll be opening DWGs, checking dimensions, and extracting quantities almost every day. The role is strictly billing-oriented; cost estimation and broader project budgeting are handled elsewhere on the team, so you can stay laser-focused on progress bills, final bills, and any supporting documentation. Expect to liaise with site engineers for measurements, prepare RA bills, reconcile previous payments, and flag variations the moment you spot them. Deliverables I’ll look for: • Draft and final invoices for each milestone, exported in both PDF and editable spreadsheet format. • An AutoCAD take-off file (or marked-up drawing) that backs up every quantity you bill. • A brief reconciliation note highlighting any variations or retention adjustments. Accuracy and turnaround time are critical; clear, audit-ready paperwork is what keeps our cash flow steady.
