Residential Take-Off Quantities

I have a set of architectural and structural drawings for a new residential building and I need an accurate take-off of all measurable items. Your job is to extract every quantity required for procurement and cost estimating—concrete, rebar, masonry, finishes, fixtures, the works—directly from the drawings and present them in a clear, itemised schedule of quantities. At this stage I am focusing only on the take-off; tasks such as full LMP sheet preparation or an in-depth drawing study can follow later once the quantities are locked in. If you normally work with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, Excel, or similar tools, let me know how you will apply them to keep the audit trail transparent. Send a detailed project proposal that explains: • the workflow you will follow from drawing review to final quantity sheet • the software you plan to use and why it suits this project • the format of your deliverable (native file and PDF) • the time you need and any milestones you recommend for partial reviews I will supply the latest PDF drawing set and any revision clouds once we start. Accuracy and clear cross-referencing back to drawing numbers and grid lines will be the benchmarks for acceptance.
