I am a volunteer for a local Indivisible group that has about 1,300 subscribers to its weekly newsletter and 60-80 people coming to monthly meetings. Our target geographic area has about 160,000 residents and I'd like to target doubling the subscriber and active participation levels. I head a group of volunteers that distributed more than 13,500 flyers to households for the last No Kings event. None of our flyers specifically invited people to join the group and I would like help designing a persuasive message to recruit folks– specifically focusing on a set of flyers and matching brochures. The flyers should be a 2-up, half-page layout on standard Letter stock (each panel ending up 5.5" × 8.5"). I can provide current materials, and possible themes. it would be most effective to have some exchange of ideas prior to jumping into copy and design work. Messaging should be relentlessly encouraging and positive, if not outright joyful, on the theory that people are worn out with negative messaging. Deliverables • Press-ready PDFs with bleed and crop marks [this bullet was AI-generated and I don't know what it meands] • Editable source files so my team can update information later Strong preference for candidates familiar with Indivisible and the resistance movement. If you have recent political or cause-based samples, feel free to point me to them so I can move quickly on awarding the project. See attached draft that needs an expert's eye on both design and content.
