I have point-cloud scans of an existing facility and need complete Scan-to-BIM modeling in Revit. The scope covers: • HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems • Architectural elements required for proper coordination I’m looking for Revit models delivered at LOD 300 for the general layout and LOD 350 where component detail and accurate fabrication data are essential. All geometry must align accurately with the scan, follow standard MEP families, and be organized with clear naming, worksets, and systems. Please include in your proposal: 1. A brief outline of your Scan-to-BIM workflow. 2. Examples of past Revit projects at LOD 300/350. 3. Estimated turnaround time for the first draft and final coordinated model. I will provide the registered point cloud and any available asset data as soon as the project starts.

With over a decade of experience and expertise in 3D modeling using Revit, I am confident that I can deliver top-tier results within your stipulated timeframe. My workflow for your MEP modeling project will entail a comprehensive scan-to-BIM process, ensuring accurate alignment between your point cloud data and MEP features such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. To ensure an organized and structured model, I will utilize standard MEP families with clear naming, worksets, and systems. Regarding LOD, my portfolio boasts numerous projects that have been completed at LOD 300/350. The level of detail and accuracy required for your project is not new to me and I will leverage my past experience to provide you with a high-quality final coordinated model that meets all your needs. In terms of turnaround time, I'm committed to efficiency without compromising on quality. For the first draft, I estimate a time frame of X days/weeks (depending on the complexity of the facility) while the final coordinated model should be ready within Y days/weeks thereafter. I'm eager to begin transforming your point cloud scans into precise Revit models that enhance your decision-making process and coordination efforts. Let's bring our fields of expertise together for a successful project!

HI, I can deliver highly accurate MEP Scan-to-BIM modeling with coordinated Revit workflows, clash-aware detailing, and clean LOD-compliant models generated directly from point-cloud scan data for streamlined project execution. Questions ✅ What is the required LOD level and Revit version for the final BIM deliverables? ✅ Which MEP disciplines are included in the scope — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or fire protection? ✅ Do you need only Revit modeling from scans or also clash detection, coordinated sheets, and documentation? Warm regards, The Blend Nation.

I can support your Scan-to-BIM requirements by converting your point-cloud data into a fully coordinated Revit model aligned to LOD 300 for overall building systems and LOD 350 for detailed, fabrication-ready components where required. I have experience working with architectural and MEP coordination models, ensuring that HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are accurately modeled using standard Revit families, properly structured worksets, and clear system organization for seamless collaboration and downstream use. My typical Scan-to-BIM workflow begins with validating and registering the point cloud for accuracy, followed by setting up a disciplined Revit project structure with correct levels, grids, and worksets. I then proceed with architectural modeling to establish a reliable base, followed by systematic MEP modeling aligned precisely with the scan data. Throughout the process, I maintain coordination checks to avoid clashes and ensure consistency between disciplines, finishing with QA/QC reviews before delivery. I can provide examples of previous Revit modeling and coordination work at LOD 300 and LOD 350 upon request. Based on project size and complexity, I can also share a realistic timeline for an initial draft model and the final fully coordinated submission once I review the point cloud data.
