Feasibility study and Business Plan (BP) preparation for a Start-up in Home Improvement & Renovation

A Business Plan (PB) in Property Maintenance & Improvement is needed as part of the documentations required for a Business Immigration process. The project involves Business Concept feasibility study and Preparing a research based, data driven BP for an Entrepreneur Immigration registration. We need to hire someone who is fast learning and passionate in research. And is able to develop a Business Concept that is realistic, and is backed with convincing, accurate, research based data. Work on this project is consist of two stages: 1) Feasibility Study 2) Preparing a Business Plan (BP) in Home Improvement & Renovation. Freelancer who showed passion and talent, maybe hired to work with our team for other similar work opportunities in BP preparation for Immigration purposes. 1) Feasibility Study - Targeting Business Location: Freelancer shall conduct a market research of the 15 selected regional districts (attached) of British Columbia Canada through online resources (attached). Based on the study of those resources and online explorations, freelancer shall come up with a report to conclude which regions show a potential demand for a business in Home Improvement, Renovation and Maintenance (NAICS 238, 236, 561). Part of this research is completing the excel sheet attached named Serviceability Ratio Analysis. It compares the population, number of dwellings and No. of competitors for the 15 selected regions to determine which of them may be the best option to locate the business, by determining the serviceability ratio. Freelancer may propose/use other feasibility study approaches to do this. 2) Prepare a Business Concept/Plan: Based on the research results and the data gathered, freelancer shall develop a Business Concept/Model in Home Improvement & Renovation. The concept we are considering for this purpose is: A home service tech startup dedicated to simplifying how homeowners and renters get fast job estimates via picture messaging. Everything done through Mobile APP. A similar business concept for reference is: [login to view URL] However, we will need to modify the concept to fit our model and situation. Maximum investment budget for the proposed business is CAD $250,000. Proposed Business Concept shall be aligned with the investment budget range; show evident Commercial viability and show a competitive edge throughout the Business Plan. BP shall include descriptions on at least (but not limited to) the sections which are listed in the attachment file. Freelancer will review CV of the entrepreneur/applicant and shall improve it further to make it in line with the proposed business concept and integrate it into the BP. Freelancer should demonstrate transferability of applicant’s skills and experience to the proposed business concept. Prepared BP should be genuine. Freelancer should avoid copy pasts and use of pre-prepared templates. Each part of BP should be customized to the needs of the targeted location and to the business experience of the entrepreneur/applicant. Lengthy paragraphs are not preferred. BP contents should be simple, condensed but yet meaningful. All BP package (financial tables excluded) shall not exceed 15 pages. Our company’s internal evaluating team will throughly read the BP and will assess it against the evaluating criterions which is attached. Freelancer should be patient enough to work with our evaluating team, correct their comments, and revise the BP multiple times until the entire BP is at the full satisfaction of our evaluating team. Please see attached evaluation criterions for how we will assess the BP. Total time for completing this assignment is 30 days. Payment for this job will be paid in 3 Milestones as below: 1. Upon completion of Research & Feasibility Study in 7 days 2. Prepare and submission of First BP draft in 7 days after feasibility study completed 3. All comments corrected, revisions made, and full BP package is final at the satisfaction of the employer
