Financial Excel Modelling Support

Excel Modelling Support (One-Off Project) We are seeking an experienced Excel modeller / VBA programmer to support the refinement and expansion of an existing draft financial and market demand model relating to emerging environmental and nature markets. This is a one-off project focused on taking an early-stage model and helping build it into a more robust, usable, and dynamic analytical tool. Scope of Work The project may include: •⁠ ⁠Refining and restructuring an existing Excel model •⁠ ⁠Expanding financial and market demand modelling functionality •⁠ ⁠Building scenario and sensitivity analysis capabilities •⁠ ⁠Improving model usability, logic, and transparency •⁠ ⁠Developing Excel macros / VBA automation where useful •⁠ ⁠Streamlining calculations and workflows •⁠ ⁠Supporting dashboards, charts, and presentation-ready outputs •⁠ ⁠Troubleshooting and improving performance of larger spreadsheets The model relates broadly to finance, policy, and market demand assessment, including pricing assumptions, adoption pathways, and investment scenarios. Additional support in data / process visualisation would be welcomed. Desired Skills We are looking for someone with strong capability in: •⁠ ⁠Advanced Excel modelling •⁠ ⁠VBA / macro programming •⁠ ⁠Financial modelling and forecasting •⁠ ⁠Scenario analysis and sensitivity testing •⁠ ⁠Building clean, transparent, user-friendly models •⁠ ⁠Working with complex or evolving datasets Experience in environmental markets, infrastructure, sustainability, or investment modelling is helpful but not essential.
