International Trade Business Development

Key Responsibilities Graduate (Business / Marketing / International Trade preferred) • Generate new Requests for Quotation (RFQs) from new customers through cold calls, cold emails, WhatsApp outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and other communication channels. • Independently identify and generate new leads using personal skills, experience, industry knowledge, and self-research — not limited to company-provided data only. The candidate must be capable of finding new business opportunities on their own through online research, trade portals, B2B platforms, social media, industry events, and personal networking. • When company provides prospect data or databases, effectively utilize that data to contact potential buyers and convert them into active business leads. • Make regular cold calls to prospective clients, introduce our product range, understand their requirements, and convert inquiries into RFQs. • Send professional cold emails and follow-up emails to new prospects to create interest and generate RFQs for the company. • Follow up on all quotations sent by the team — contact clients regularly, collect feedback, address their queries, negotiate terms, and push for order confirmation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing international buyers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships. • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, calls, emails, follow-ups, and client communications in the CRM system. • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics, documentation) to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery. • Stay updated on global steel market trends, pricing, and competitor activities to support business development efforts. Skills Required • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal). • Confident in cold calling and comfortable speaking with international clients. • Strong follow-up and negotiation skills. • Basic knowledge of export processes, Incoterms, and payment terms (LC, TT, etc.). • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM tools. • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
