A template Firefox plugin/entension will receive an ASCII file with the MIME type text/x-mh. The file will have the following form:
We note that it is not necessary to produce the MIME header using php.
The plugin/extension will be registered with Firefox to handle the MIME type text/x-mh. When activated it will then do the following:
[url removed, login to view] will verify that the file was downloaded from the website www.testing.com.
[url removed, login to view] will issue a user-visible indication that the download was or was not from the correct site. If the file was downloaded from [url removed, login to view] there should be a warning message that [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] do not match.
[url removed, login to view] will then run a local program, we denote, testprog. Testprog will be provided the argument indicated by the tag <argument>. There will be a file, testprog.txt. If the argument is listed in [url removed, login to view] then testprog returns TRUE or 1. Otherwise it will return 0 or FALSE.
[url removed, login to view] plugin or extension will then show the user the result from step 3.
[url removed, login to view] will then offer the user the option of saving the original page to local disk.
This work should be completed within 1 month. The payment for the job will increase if code can be provided for both Firefox and MS Explorer. The plugin or extension should be provided with an installer that allows for a standard install on user browsers.
This is work for hire. With payment all rights to the code pass to me.
