I'd like someone to build an application, make a Macro, or some other means of automating the process of importing text files into excel.
I have 50,000 text file that I need put in an excel spreadsheet. i want each text file to represent 1 row and 1 column. in otherwords, a macro or program that takes the text file copies and pastes it in the first colum and row for each text file. i am looking for all the data to be in one excel file.
Column A Column B Column C
text file 1 no data no data
text file 2 no data no data
text file 3 no data no data
The program I use now seperates the text file across a hundred columns. I dont want that. I want each file assigned to 1 row and 1 column only. and all the data all in one CVS or excel spreadsheet. without syntax errors and weird symbols.

Hi I can do this within a day. It could be easily developed as as standalone application in vb or [url removed, login to view] to input all the text files and out put a single excel sheet as you required. see PM.
