I have a screensaver made for MacOS X which is programmed in Cocoa>Objective C and source code is availible as well as a mac binary of the screensaver. I would like to have it ported to both windows and linux. I also want to be able to receive daily updates on the projects progress via email. You can get more info on the screensaver here: [url removed, login to view] and the mac binary of the screensaver can be downloaded here: [url removed, login to view] and the source code can be obtained here: [url removed, login to view] .
***All bids MUST be within the posted project budget***
Am open to hiring seperate freelancers for each platform or one freelancer for both, however if you are going to bid for porting the screensaver to both platforms be sure you have the time and willingness to do so as well as the resources
A RPM would be nice for the linux binary of the screensaver, there preferably should be a binary RPM for both KDE and Gnome and if you'd like any other linux GUIs although KDE and Gnome are the only two that the screensaver has to work with at least at this point in time...the source code for linux should be easy to compile in both KDE and Gnome as well as other GUIs and the source code should come in both a RPM that leaves the source in the standard locations as well as a .[url removed, login to view]
The Windows port should work through Windows98 and up, any version older then that does not have to be compatible with the screensaver unless you'd like to provide such compatibility
***IMPORTANT: If you are interested in porting this screensaver to linux place your bid here: http://elance.com/projects/33994.html , DO NOT place bids for porting this screensaver to linux in this project posting (http://www.elance.com/projects/33943.html), ONLY bids for interest in porting the screensaver to windows or both windows and linux belong here (http://www.elance.com/projects/33943.html) otherwise ALL bids regarding interest in porting the screensaver to linux go here: http://elance.com/projects/33994.html ***
thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation in this matter :-)
