I have a code that works different on 32 bit and 64 bit system.
Code is relative to some crypt functions, similar, but not equal to:

The file is 897 lines long, the header 103.
I have to move from a debian 64 bit to a debian 32 bit. Everything works fine, but password (hash) are different. Salt generated is different.
So I cannot import the user database...
Code has some defines about windows, macos and various unix. I'm not interested in them. I just need it to works fine on linux.
Code will be provided on demand.

In my parallel programming experience I have worked with many complex codes
for optimizing the performance of an algorithm.
I think this will help me find the issue with your code and resolve it.

I believe I can help you.
I have 15 years of C programming for POSIX systems.
TCP/IP communicating, distributed calculations and so on... latest time I start to port on 64 and.
your project is very interesting to me.
This could be a porting issue due changes in 32 bit vs 64 bit changes (data type, address space etc). I have worked on several porting works and know typical attaching area of porting failures. I hope I can do this task better.
Thanks!
Hello,
I am running VMWare Fusion on my Mac. I have all flavors of Debian.
Let me look at the code before I accept. Obviously, I didn't write the code
so I really cannot bid on this not knowing the code.

I know everything required to finish this task. Here, on freelancer.com, it is easier to get Assembler job, so I might look as new amongst other freelancers because there was no C programming job done yet. I have Debian amd64 in Xen, ready to start right now.

I have been programming in C++ for many years and have a BS degree in computer science. Also I have a 32 bit and 64 bit computer to test the software on. And I am available to start on this project right away.
Hello,
I have converted 64-bit code to 32-bit and vice-versa on several occasions, so I'm used to the common problems and pitfalls - it's often as easy as changing the code to use explicit types (int32 rather than int).
As a newcomer to freelancer, I've entered a low bid to try to offset my lack of reputation, but I do feel that I can provide a complete and optimal solution for the task.
Thanks for your consideration.
