The need is for a freelancer to develop a program to allow interrogation between a USB tower light and Zello. To successfully complete the project you must be able to develop an application that uses USB communication protocol to receive data from the Zello Desktop application and depending on such data control the aspects of the USB tower light. The USB light is a Q-Light (Tower Lamp). This product comes with lots of different examples for developers on how to communicate with the USB tower light. Product information regarding this product along with test programs and developer examples can be found by going to [login to view URL]
Zello is a national known PTT PoC (Push over Cellular) application. For information regarding Zello along with developer information you can go to [login to view URL] The current program we utilize is Sample3 on our desktop.
Program requests regarding PTT Light:
Steady Green: Available Status
Steady Yellow: Busy or Away Status
Flashing Yellow: Anytime any voice transitions come across an “emergency” channel.
Steady Red: Anytime the PTT button is activated
Flashing Red: Anytime an emergency alert comes in. The flashing should stop once the acknowledge button is pressed.
