My organisation deals with the development of training simulators for law enforcement. For this, we require two software’s with the following functionality. One of them is a video authoring software which is responsible for importing a video and subsequent creation of zones within them.
Software # 1 : Video Editing Software.
1). Import an existing video
2). Create segments using either the start time or frame number on the video. Name each segment.
3). On each segment create zones. Assign them to a firearm type.
4). Next step would be the branching, which is basically to describe what the next segment of the video will be played when an action is detected.
5). All the above information will be saved and retrieved later.
Software #2 : Video Player Software.
1). Load the form showing the number of trainees, based on data from a database.
2). Assigning the trainees, weapon details and laser number.
3). Loading the video. The video will be loaded as per the one created during the video editing software. All branches will be loaded accordingly.
4). The video will be played on a secondary screen viz a projector.
5). Interfacing the tracker (a software to decode laser pulses - already developed) to this module.
6). Showing a visual marker when the data is received from the tracker.
7). Generate a report at the end of the video session.
