Our business is digital video surveys of road networks in a similar way to Google Street View. We have had a request for one of our clients to locate their road studs. Our video surveys are not stored in a video format but as a sequence of jpegs.
Software is required to locate roadstuds within a sequence of jpegs to give their location (X,Y), colour and intensity.
Roadstuds will appear bright within the jpegs and can be located based on intensity and colour.
The user should be able to supply a directory where the jpegs are located or drag and drop a series of jpegs. The user should be able to supply a box to search within to cover all jpegs to be analysed. The user should be able to supply a threshold for intensity for each colour (a value below which studs should be ignored). The user should be able to specify which colour to search for – white, red, green, yellow or blue.
The output should be:
Jpgname, X_Y location, colour, intensity
in CSV format.
