We would like you to write us two small programs. Program “A” writes a given data file of approx. 25 MB into the NAND flash memory of our K61 developer board. Program “B” writes the data file from NAND to DDR2 RAM.
Constraints
1. Program A will transmit the data file from the host pc to NAND via a serial Connection. The possibility of transmission errors must be taken into account and handled.
2. Program A can be either in C or C++.
3. Program B must be in C++!
4. Program B must load the model file in max some seconds of run time into the DDR2; please state as soon as possible if this is not possible.
5. We will provide remote access via TeamViewer to a Windows computer that the development board is connected to. CodeWarrior runs on this computer.
6. Please deliver for both programs a short description.
7. The programs must run independently from each other: two projects in CodeWarrior
8. You must use our CodeWarrior for development.
9. You must be fluent in English or German language.
10. We provide 3 programs on which you can build upon for program A and B:
a) Program “write to SD card” writes the data file into the SD card of our K61 developer board.
b)Program “reads from SD card” reads the date file from the SD card into DDR2.
c) And a "Hello World" program that runs on the K61 board and illustrates how to access the internal RAM, DDR2 RAM and NAND flash memory.
Work packages:
- Implement program A that uploads the data file of 10 MB into the NAND flash memory of the development board. Deliver code as CodeWarrior Project and a short manual.
- Implement program B that reads the data file from NAND and writes the data file to DDR2 RAM. Deliver code as CodeWarrior Project and a short manual.
Hello, your project to execution is interesting to me!!
I understand that I am a beginner on freelancer.com but I very need work, I program about 15 years. If you give me mlenky chance to show on what I am capable, you won't be disappointed!
Hi,
I have 8 years of experience in the field of Embedded Systems and I am currently working with Mentor Graphics which is embedded system gian. I have vast experience on working with Cortex M series of controllers. Recently I have trained a batch of university grads on TI TM4C mcus.
I have read your specs which have some errors which need corrections. If you are interested, I can provide you what is possible and what needs correction. Contact me if you want this to be done in professional way.
