Develop a deployment of the Bluecoat Threatpulse service which will allow us to treat each device as a BYOD device while we(the Company) can control their ability to remove the Bluecoat configuration software. Deployment should be on the following computers:
Windows 7, 8
Mac OS X
Mobile Platforms - iOS, Android
Router level deployment
Notes are provided in the attached documents. We would like to be able to develop an on-boarding process which is as follows:
• If they want to work from home, send them a pre-configured router which connects to the Threatpulse service. The connection would be a dynamic ip on their end. The employee would then plug in the router and any device traffic would be intercepted via Bluecoat and would require the Captive Portal plugin.
• With their computer we would be able to send out a download link the an installation package with the unified agent and ssl certificate and whatever other settings need to be applied to bring them online and also not allow them to disable the software – as previously discussed.
• For mobile devices, I see it being the employee providing the device and us doing a factory reset using Apple Configurator to deploy all the Threatpulse settings and then the device being protected.
