Learning Yogi is a social impact startup that is creating an exciting game-based learning platform (called the Atlas Mission) which kids around the world, and especially disadvantaged kids in developing countries, can use to teach themselves. We are looking for 2 outstanding Unity game developers with at least 3+ years of experience to join our rapidly growing team and create the educational games that will be included in our platform.
This is a full-time position. You will be an integral part of our core team (based in Bangalore in India) and will be expected to attend our regular team meetings over Google Hangouts.
You won't be able to work on any other freelance projects simultaneously, nor will you have the time for it. We are a fast-paced startup, so working with us often means having to work long hours and occasionally during weekends if you need to meet deadlines.
Since this is a full-time position, there is no fixed number of hours that you'd be expected to work every month. You'd have the same responsibilities and deadlines as any of our full-time employees, so you'd need to work as many hours as it takes to meet your deadlines.
Our maximum budget for this position is $1600 per month (inclusive of Freelancer fees).
I have attached a document that provides an overview of the responsibilities associated with this position. In case you can't see the attachment, it's also uploaded to Dropbox - [login to view URL]
Note: If you have received an invitation from us to apply for this position, please ensure that you answer the 2 questions present below when you accept the invitation. We won't be able to review your application without answers to these 2 questions:
1. Why do you think you would be a good fit for this project? Please ensure that your answer reflects the fact that you have studied our job posting, our websites and the attached job responsibilities.
2. Please provide a copy of your CV (i.e. your resume). Please don't simply give us links to games you've created or a link to your portfolio. We need a copy of your CV. If you don't have a CV, you will need to create one and then apply for this position.
